Barcelona in 2 days

It might seem to many people that two days aren't enough for visiting Barcelona. But it isn't mission impossible if you know what you want to see and you'll plan it. You can easily visit beautiful places and relax while drinking coffee and cava (a sparkling wine). Barcelona is the one of largest resorts on the Mediterranean coast. The city is the heart of Catalonia. There are many attractions in Barcelona: architectural monuments from different eras, wonderful museums, events and festivals, various sports facilities, well-developed recreational base on the coast, parks and green areas and the heritage of Antonio Gaudi. It's a unique city that is really worth exploring.

Sagrada Familia

Whether you believe or not, Sagrada Familia will impress you. Even if you aren't interested in art. The interior is filled with colored light, the stained-glass windows let in colorful lights. It's worth to just sit inside and be there. And then go downstairs and read about the history of the construction in the museum, watch the film or the original drawings of Gaudi.

Tibidabo

You can also go by a funicular to the highest viewpoint in Barcelona. First, you must go by a retro tram or a normal city bus to the funicular. Later, there are two options: the funicular or an hour walk to the top.

Montjuïc

There is Castell De Montjuic, which is a beautiful viewpoint. Montjuic was the venue for several summer disciplines of the Barcelona Summer Games in 1992. The roads on the city side were Formula 1 circuit - Circuit de Montjuic. It is worth going to Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Park Güell

The entrance to the park was free, but now it costs 7 euros. Is it worth it? I do not think so. It's hard to take a photo on the famous terrace without Asian tourists.

La Barceloneta

If you want to relax on the beach or walk along it, this is the place for you.

Montserrat

The ideal mountains for walks are Montserrat. You can go by train and then by cable car.

Parc De La Ciutadella

A great oasis of peace, where you can lounging under a palm tree or paddling a small lake, it's easy to forget that you are in the city.

Plaça d'Espanya

It's one of Barcelona's most important squares, built on the occasion of the 1929 International Exhibition.
